Grow Mat is designed for erosion control and revegetation in areas where erosion is too great for simple mulching techniques. With its high tensile modulus, Grow Mat provides the root reinforcement necessary in high shear stress situations. In the past, the only options were rip-rap, asphalt or concrete linings. Grow Mat is a dense web of extra-thick P.E. monofilaments thermally welded together to create a long-lasting, tough, yet flexible mat.
